From taking my first photograph with my parent's Bunny camera at the age of 10, enjoying the manipulation of oils on canvas as a fine artist, to becoming an award-winning art director and later the executive creative director for 12 years at TBWA Hunt Lascaris Durban, and then moving into professional photography, the passion to create has run through my veins throughout my life.

With a fine art, advertising, and graphic design background, my key strength is the ability to look and find the story in my photography, enhanced by the natural compositional structure, resulting in finely tuned and balanced images.

​

So whether it's a camera, pencil, paintbrush or computer mouse in my hand, my passion for creativity will find me sitting in my office late into the night, or out on the beach before sunrise.

​

Photography mentorship is one of the most rewarding aspects of my photographic journey and a true passion of mine. From hosting wildlife photographic workshops for My Photo Safari to seeing the delight when a photographer's images rapidly climb to the next level through one-on-one sessions where I focus on editing skills and photographic technique.
